Personal Assistants / Legal Secretaries
Personal Assistants will work under
the supervision of the Advocates and will also be advised on various policy
matters by the Office Administrator.
Their duties will include:-
- Prepare letters and documents as may be
advised by the Advocates, noting to strictly observe the set timelines.
- Liaise with the dispatch team to ensure that
all letters and documents are delivered on time.
- Bind documents, make copies, attend to
annexures.
- Processing all incoming emails, letters and
other correspondence.
- Files copies of all correspondence in the
relevant files.
- Prepare responses to correspondence containing
routine enquiries for approval by the Advocate.
- Read and analyse incoming memos, submissions
and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
- Co-ordinate and schedule the Advocate’s
meeting as may be advised from time to time.
- Prepare meeting agendas and distribute.
- Take and transcribe minutes and distribute to
meeting attendees.
- Manage and maintain the Advocate’s diary in
terms of scheduling appointments, time management and keeping it up to
date.
