Human Resources Managers

commercial sector.
Candidates with experience in
industrial or distribution industries will have a definite advantage and are
encouraged to apply.
Job Purpose: To maintain and enhance the organization’s human
resources by planning, implementing, human resources policies, programs, and
practices with a view to building a dynamic and engaged staff.
Manage change as and when it happens;
and link this to organizational strategy
Responsibilities
- Be the focal point in the provision of advice
and guidance on HR strategies, policies and procedures
- Manage strategic workforce planning and
recruitment
- Effectively manage internal relationships with
a view to create an engaged workforce.
- Identify and implement opportunities for
improvement in HR service delivery and employee feedback.
- Mitigate organizational risk by ensuring
compliance with all employment laws.
- Implement human resources programs by
providing human resources services, including talent acquisition,
staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare
benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health,
succession planning, employee relations and retention, and labor
relations.
- Develop human resources solutions by
collecting and analyzing information and recommending course of action.
- Manage client expectations by engaging
functional heads; resolving concerns and agreeing course of action
- Safeguard organization's value by keeping
information confidential.
- Enhance department and organization reputation
and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree HR or equivalent. Masters
degree would be an added advantage
- At least 7-10 years progressive Human Resource
Management experience required
- HR management experience in a busy commercial
environment preferred
- Knowledge of Kenyan Labor Laws
- Excellent written and oral communication
skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Sound judgment and ability to maintain
confidentiality
- Good computer skills in MS Excel, MS Word and
Power Point
- Well organized with strong time management
skills
