We are establishing a flower farm in
Gishili Park in Rwanda to grow Roses and wish to recruit 2 Graduate Junior Production Graduates to
strengthen the management team with a view to producing and delivering high
quality roses for direct export markets.
The areas of responsibilities will
include irrigation, crop protection, post-harvest procedures and IPM.
Requirements
- Degree in Flori-culture/ Horticulture /
Agriculture Science.
- Post-graduation in Agriculture/Horticulture
/Floriculture is added advantage.
- Working experience in commercial farming will
also be added advantage.
- responsibility for all production activities
including new crop establishment, general crop husbandry, crop protection
and feeding under guidance
- The ideal candidate must in addition have
post-harvest experience including harvesting, cooling, grading and
shipping.
- Experience in growing under IPM will have an
added advantage.
- Experience in organic farming will have an
added advantage.
