Key Account Manager

Planning
- Map decision processes and identify key
decision makers
- Implement and monitor an action plan for
priority accounts in cooperation with Cluster Team
- Develop the pricing policy for all accounts
- Organize regular interactions with district
managers/sales rep and share center objectives and information
- Contribute to development of the
marketing/commercial strategy
Execution
- Build relationships with identified
stakeholders
- Negotiate sales conditions based on value
securing regional and account access
- Lead the execution part of Key Account
Excellence process
- Ensure access of new products
- Ensure a consistent value offer, account
calculation and implementation follow-up
- Execute the action plan aligned with Cluster
Team
Tracking
- Follow-up of sales, access, price development
- Contract fulfillment
- Follow-up and update account analysis,
stakeholder analysis ensuring developing understanding of customer needs.
- Follow-up of productivity and its impact
Qualifications
- A minimum of a science degree is required
- 5-8 years of experience as Sales Rep promoting
Hospital Pharmaceutical products
- Experience in promotion to Hospital
Pharmacists
- Demonstrated track record of introduction of
new products in Hospitals
- Experience in negotiation of prices and
conditions with Hospital Pharmacists and other key decision makers
Regional Medical Liaison Manager
Ref: MLM/04/15/AMG
Key Responsibilities
- Identifies, develops and maintains
collaborative relationships with current and future OLs, scientific
experts, cooperative study groups and study sites
- Develops and implements local OL Plans, in
line with local and international OL strategy• Represents Amgen Medical
department in the territory
- Discusses scientific value messages, clinical
outcome and patient benefits with Ols, hospital pharmacists and local
payers in close collaboration with KAM/access group
- Works with development field operations to
ensure prioritization of trial site selection, and support feasibility
across assigned territories
- Understand trial/referral networks and
identify enrollment barriers
- Participates in investigator meetings
according to approved investigator strategy
- Implements and follows up on ISSs and other
scientific activities, provides input to the design of local observational
research
- Supports ASTs on site with scientific
presentations/discussions to create enthusiasm for the scientific program,
- Gives clinical and scientific presentations at
sites / hospitals
- Ensures society engagement: RML support of
international and regional congresses
- Supports Head RML/local TA Leader &Medical
Manager in developing local territory R&D tactics
- Develops required qualitative and quantitative
reports; collates competitor information
- Ensures conduct of work in line with
compliance regulations
Qualifications
- Medical or scientific education or experience
from similar positions
- Advanced degree (e.g. PhD, MD) preferred or
strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and
professional training
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industry, or
a related scientific field in academia
- Experience in sales force, affiliate Medical
Department or Clinical Development
- Willingness to travel; possesses valid
driver’s license
- Experience with clinical study management and
conduct
- Medical / scientific research experience

Representative / Product Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements territory POA and key
account plans. Consistently exceeds POA.
- Conducts systematic, in depth analysis of
problem in order to anticipate in advance the best course of action to
improve performance
- Lead the Cluster/Territory team members,
ensuring data is accurately recorded into CRM and is viewed as a role
model by cluster teams members
- Works with DM and others to develop best
practices
- Disseminates an in-depth knowledge of how
retail practices, clinics and hospitals operate the differing roles of
stakeholders and their differing needs in relation to the needs of Amgen.
- Anticipates & communicates competitive
threats and opportunities. Takes the lead on gathering competitive
intelligence.
- Build long term relationships by providing a
high level of service and creatively handling customer requests, needs and
commitments
- Reports customer activity in the CRM system
and ensures customer profiles are kept up-todate
- Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of and
effectively implements Amgen’s performance4. Mentors others on how to use
Performance4.
- Demonstrates ability to access extra resources
for projects from Head office.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life science or (bio)
medical sciences
- In-depth industry and sales practices
knowledge
- Minimum 3-4 or more years of experience in the
pharmaceutical industry in a sales related job.
- Detailed knowledge of and experience in a
hospital environment (NB minimum requirement for hospital-based markets)
- Experience in interacting with various
disciplines and organizational levels
- Experience in project management.
