Audit Assistant Job in Kenya

Vacancy: Audit Assistant
 
Our client, an accounting and audit firm, is looking for an Audit Assistant to work closely with the Auditors and the Management team to provide quality and accurate audit services to their clients.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Execution of audit work for various clients.
  • Preparation of financial statements.
  • Preparation of management letters.
  • Preparation of audit files.
  • Book keeping.
  • Preparations of tax computations.
  • Preparations of audit schedules.
  • Filing of KRA returns and statutories.
  • Carrying out the audit plan as briefed by the audit manager.
  • Any other duties as directed by the audit manager.
Required Qualifications:
  • CPA III
  • B. Com or equivalent education is an added advantage.
  • 1-2 years’ work experience in an auditing capacity.
  • Conversant with QuickBooks and other accounting packages and can demonstrate good use and understanding of QuickBooks.
  • Demonstrate good understanding of IFRS.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of all statutory deductions and submissions.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Smart and with good spoken and written English.
  • Critical thinker and creative.
  • Humble and Respectful to others and a good team player.
