Limited have been retained by one of our affiliate SACCOs in Nakuru County to
recruit and fill the position of:-
Accounts Clerk
Reporting to the accountant the job holder will ensure proper management of
members’ records and ensure integrity of control and bank accounts.Accounts Clerk
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure
strict risk and internal controls
- Preparation
of the monthly income and expenditure statements
- Ensure
timely and correct posting to the general ledger and subsidiary ledger
- Assists
the accountant in preparation of financial statements
- Cary
out bank reconciliation on daily basis
- Raise
journals entries, adjustments, corrections and any necessary amendments to
the accounts and have them posted

Qualifications and Skills:

- KCSE
C plain
- CPA
II
Skills and Desired Qualities:
- Hands
on experience in using ERP software and Microsoft office packages
- Good
analytical skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, must be a
team player and able to work under minimum supervision.
- Should
be proactive and focussed
- Demonstrate
high standard of integrity
Experience:
- At
least 2 years relevant experience
- Experience
in Sacco operations will be an added advantage
