Our client, an international NGO in quality reproductive health care and family planning wishes to recruit a Regional Coordinator to oversee the coordination of planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of selected organizational activities across channels of service delivery which include outreach, social franchising, and centers and other projects in the designated counties of the assigned region.
 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead in the collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, including the County Government, other implementing partners and internal stakeholders to achieve project and organizational deliverables.
  • Act as the focal person for the organization at the regional level including representing the organization at high level meetings/platforms where necessary and coordinate regular stakeholder meetings with teams across the channels.
  • Ensuring proper budget administration through coordinating store requisition and procurement issues within the organization at the regional level as well as ensuring judicious use and accountability of funds disbursed to the region.
  • Continuously identify opportunities that fit within the organization’s growth areas in line with the organizational strategic plans and including supporting ongoing proposal development and concept papers.
  • Support channel leads within the region to undertake proper planning of staffing requirements to ensure continuous delivery of services as well as supporting capacity building of staff including service providers at franchised clinics to undergo requisite trainings.
  • Ensure consistent focus on the clients with delivery of high quality services within the region.
Skills and Qualifications
  • First degree or equivalent in Health/ biological sciences, or related discipline.
  • Proven 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of MPH, MSc. Development Studies, M.A Project Management and any relevant course is an added advantage.
  • Must be computer literate and be at ease with report writing
  • Project cycle management training desirable
  • Must be attuned to and be comfortable with the culture/ traditions of the people.
  • Clear ability to identify and set targets.
