supplier of industrial and domestic appliances is seeking to recruit a Showroom Stores & Deliveries Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
Stores ManagementDuties and Responsibilities
- Co-coordinating the deliveries to clients on a
daily basis
- Management of the Installers - discipline and
allocation of duties
- Management of the fleet of delivery vehicles
in liaison with the Transport Manager
- Ordering of stocks ex GD4 for deliveries and
displays per requirement
- Management of Helpers with the Showroom Sales
Supervisor
- Ensure all D notes both SIO and INC's are
received daily from the installers
- Ensure all installation protocols are
completed in liaison with the Sales staff
- Managing stocks of spares - Gas Piping, Electrical
Cables, Nozzels and other spare part accessories required for
installations
- Correspondence - managing the deliveries email
address with the assistance of the customer care supervisor
- Any other duties as required by management
Deliveries Management
- Management of Showroom Stores
- Receiving of Stocks into the Showroom Stocks
from the various locations - GD4, Service Centres, Third Party Suppliers
- Records Management - maintaining proper
records of the Location Transfers; goods received from 3rd Party Suppliers;
entering received goods into Orion; Stock Adjustments; Material Issues;
Consignments;
- Management of Stocks by ensuring that monthly
stock takes are taken, variances reported to HOD and Sales Staff and
resolved within the current month and maintaining all reports related to
stock takes
- Management of Consignments - ensuring all
paper work processed in accordance to procedures and follow up with
respective staff to ensure returns within the stipulated time frame
- Special Offer Codes - to ensure that all items
sold under Special Offer Codes are analysed to ensure they are sold in
accordance to the procedure (DO2; Special Prices; Sample Items; Special
offers). Adjustments are correctly processed in Orio.
- Re ordering levels - to liaise with Sales
Staff to ensure all items available in GD4 has been ordered by the Sales
Staff
- Pending Location Transfers - to ensure all
stock entries and exits are processed in Orion from both ends - the
receiving and dispatching
- INC D Notes - to work with Accounts office
& Showroom Administrator ensuring all Invoices released from GD4, the
D Notes are receive.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from
time to time by Superior.

- Ensure presentation and display of showroom is
presentable
- Showroom is fully stocked
- All POP's are in place and pricing completed
- Customers are promptly attended to on arrival
in showroom
- Assist Sales Persons in closing sale.
- Credit Notes are correctly processed in
accordance with Procedures.
- All Gate Passes, LTO, Stock Movements are
correctly processed in accordance with Procedures.
- Discounting - to be auctioned in conjunction
with Orion.
2. Staff management
- Ensure all staff is trained.
- Discipline is maintained.
- Smartness and formal attire is adhered to.
- Breaks are taken in an orderly fashion and
timings are adhered to.
- On leave is monitored and co-ordinate.
- Resolve any staff issues, complaints or
queries
3. Reports
- Analysis Customer Feedback Reports.
- Prepare sales summary reports to ensure in
accordance to budget.
- Any reports as required
- Reconciliation of stock
Any other duties that may be assigned
from time to time by Superior.

the section looking after the sales staff have all products on display and
all POP are in place and price tags are clean
- Sales Staff Management and discipline
- Managing own product department - ensuring
full display of stock items; pop in place; price tags in place and enough
stocks available in accordance to procedure for direct sales and stock
management
- Helpers Management and discipline
- Assisting Showroom Clients at all times and
achieving sales per the targets
- Any other duties as required by management
Qualifications
- 3 years working experience in a similar
environment
- Degree in sales and marketing
