Azicon (K) Limited is a Kenyan Company that was incorporated to provide services in airfield lighting and navigational systems installations in the airport environment. 

In concert with the trends in business and technology our scope of business has broadened such that information technology, avionics and security systems are established units in our organization. 

Our main activities are design, sourcing and installation of Airfield, Air Navigation, ICT systems, Power Distribution and Instrumentation.

1) IT Supervisor
 
Job Description
  • Responsible for coordinating IT projects and ensuring IT systems in the office are in proper working condition.
  • Coordinate site preparation, installation, testing, commissioning and preparation of as-built documentation for IT projects.
  • Coordinate site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, safely, within budget, of the highest quality and meets client’s requirements.
  • Supervision, Training and Guiding of technical staff at Technical sites.
  • In charge of project materials, tools and documentation.
  • Preparation of timely project reports and budgets and advising management on matters regarding project implementation.
  • Preparation tender proposals.
  • Preparation of AutoCAD drawings.
Education
  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology or a similar degree from a recognized institution.
  • CCNA/CCNP
  • Additional Professional Certifications/Vendor Trainings in IT are highly desirable.
Work Experience
  • Minimum 2 years work experience.
Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.

2) Site Engineer
 
Job Description
  • Responsible for leading a team in implementation of Airfield Ground Lighting System.
  • Coordinate site preparation, installation, testing, commissioning and preparation of as-built documentation Airfield Ground Lighting System project.
  • Coordinate site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, safely, within budget, of the highest quality and meets client’s requirements.
  • Responsible for Training/ Guiding site technicians in all phases of work.
  • Interpretation of AGL drawings and specifications to ensure the project is implemented as per ICAO standards.
  • Ensure that all Cables, Lights, Fixtures, CCR’s, Distribution panels, Substation electrical wiring and SCADA System are installation as per ICAO standards.
  • Ensure proper records are kept throughout the project implementation period.
  • Coordinate various teams and organizations involved in the project to ensure continuous operations of the project implementation.
  • Ensure ISO 9001:2008 quality standards are adhered to.
  • In charge of project materials, tools and documentation.
  • Prepare project reports
  • Ensure safety measures are followed at all times.
Education
  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Registered by Engineers Board of Kenya or equivalent international professional organization
  • Additional Professional Certifications/Vendor Trainings in AGL field are highly desirable.
Work Experience
  • Minimum 6 years work experience in designing, installing, maintenance and commissioning of Airfield Ground Lighting Systems.
Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
3) Foreman
 
Job Description
  • Responsible for coordinating a team in implementation of Airfield Ground Lighting System.
  • Coordinate site preparation, installation, testing, commissioning and preparation of as-built documentation Airfield Ground Lighting System project.
  • Coordinate Installation, Termination and Testing of Primary & Secondary cables
  • Coordinate Installation of Airfield Ground lighting (Approach Lights, Inset Lights, Elevated)
  • Coordinate Installation of AGL Fixtures, Shallow/deep Bases. Usage of Installation Jigs and related tools
  • Coordinate Installation of CCR’s, Distribution panels and Substation electrical wiring as well as the SCADA System
  • Interpret AGL drawings and follow installation details to implement AGL installation and cabling/termination works on site.
  • Prepare project reports
  • Ensure safety measures are followed at all times.
Education
  • Diploma or higher in Electrical Studies
  • Additional Professional Certifications trainings highly desirable.
Work Experience
  • Minimum 6 years work experience in installing, troubleshooting, maintenance and commissioning of Airfield Ground Lighting Systems.
Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
