Stores Supervisor
Ref: SCN/HRBP/10

Reporting to the Supervisor, Production Planning & Supply Chain, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
·                     Organizing and establishing systems for inventory control to minimize shortages, overstocking and obsolescence
·                     Generate, process and follow-up on all orders for tools, machine parts, stationary and all other MRO (non-productive) materials
·                     Ensuring that all materials are properly stored and arranged ¡n the store area for ease of handling and to avoid damage & pilferage
·                     Timely updating and maintenance of all inventory Records and Systems to reflect actual inventory movements and levels at every point in time
·                     Setting up and maintaining necessary controls to determine future inventory requirements
·                     Establishing and maintaining processes for identification and removal of obsolete/excess materials from cribs and recommend/request write off
·                     Preparation for and coordination of physical inventory (stock take) activities, both cyclic and annual in the Technical and Local content stores
·                     Maintaining safety and good housekeeping standards in line with General Motors Health and Safety policy
·                     Ensuring compliance with Quality and Environmental requirements ¡n line with General Motors East Africa QMS and EMS policies and ISO 9001 & 1 4001 standards.
For appointment to this position, the successful candidate must have the following minimum requirements:
·                     Bachelors Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
·                     Diploma in Stores Management & Stock Control or Purchasing & Supply Management (CIPS) will be an added advantage
·                     Minimum three years’ experience ¡n a similar position
·                     Working knowledge of computerized inventory control systems (Knowledge of SAP will be a distinct advantage)
·                     High level of interpersonal, IT, Planning and Organizational skills.

Business Development Executive - Emerging Segments

Reporting to the Feet & Corporate Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
·                     Proactively plan and develop emerging Business segments
·                     Monitor market trends/economic activities and opportunities
·                     Business growth through superior customer service and product knowledge for effective selling, consultation and presentation of the products to the target market
·                     Participate in Tenders both in the Central Government and Devolved systems
·                     Leasing and Customer Financing Programs
·                     Participating ¡n Brand promotional activities and developing innovative ways of Business Development in the assigned segment
·                     Develop and enhance a working relationship with Dealers to explore opportunities and value addition
·                     Supporting the Credit control management process in the assigned segment.

Senior Financial Risks & Controls Analyst

The role will be primarily responsible for assisting the Finance team’s management of Business and Systems Risk & Controls. 

This involves administering and tracking the compliance activities, formalising the risk assessment process for significant changes in systems and processes as well as ad-hoc projects relating to improving risk and controls within GM East Africa.

Reporting to the Controller, Finance, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
·                     Conducting risk assessments to determine what processes are in scope for Internal Controls over Financial Reporting
·                     Work with process owners to assemble, maintain process maps and identify risks and control gaps
·                     Examine existing baseline processes, approving new processes and /or changes to existing processes
·                     Provide interpretation and guidance to process owners regarding key risks and key controls
·                     Interface the Finance process owners to ensure policies and procedures are appropriately documented and compliant with the company requirements
·                     Develop and prescribe regularly key control testing to ensure that key risks are mitigated
·                     Review results of control testing with Finance management and discuss viable solutions to close gaps
·                     Track any corrective action plans that come from the control testing.
For appointment to this position, the successful candidate must have the following minimum requirements:
·                     Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology
·                     Certified Public Accountant CPA(K) or equivalent
·                     Minimum of five years’ experience, preferably in Internal Controls or audit function
·                     Experience in SAP environment preferred
·                     Attention to detail, strong organization, written and oral communication skills.

Field Sales Manager

Reporting to the General Manager, Sales & Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
·                     Develop, set monthly sales target and review annual business plan for each dealer in his/her region
·                     Formulate monthly vehicle ordering forecasts with dealer participation
·                     Work out sales related marketing initiatives aimed at growing Vehicle sales, service and parts
·                     Implement policies and procedures developed by General Motors East Africa to uphold brand reputation
·                     Standards for dealership facilities
·                     Build and nurture strong dealership teams and help dealer management in Talent acquisition and retention
·                     Monitor and provide monthly reports for assigned dealerships, territory on market information and Dealer performance
·                     Develop and sustain customer loyalty and retention programs within the assigned territory.
For appointment to this position, the successful candidate must have the following minimum requirements:
·                     Mean grade of B+ in high school
·                     Bachelors Degree (second class upper division) in any business related field
·                     Minimum seven years experience in either regional/territory sales management or dealer/distributor management
·                     Business acumen, analytical and excellent communication skills
·                     Professional qualifications in Marketing & experience in Market Research will be an added advantage.
