An organization working for peace and
social justice is looking for a Kenya Peace Program intern for three months.
The incumbent will work closely with
the acting Kenya Program Director as well as the Deputy Regional Director,
Africa and support the Nairobi office to implement start up projects under the
Kenya Program.
S/he will engage on key concepts and
tools for peace work including conflict resolution, alternatives to violence
group trainings, Do No Harm and other community based non-violence
approaches.
S/he will participate in supporting
online forums for Kenyan youth, conference planning and logistics,
livelihoods-peace research and capacity building with partners.
S/he should have very good
communication skills (oral, written) in Swahili and English.
If you have a Master’s Degree in Development, Peace and Conflict or equivalent experience in these fields as well as strong skills in communication, writing, and editing and are eager to work as part of a small, international team, please send your application to:
