Accounting Internship
Job Profile: Assist with general accounting and finance
administration supporting the Accounting / Finance department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statement &
analysis
- Work closely with each business units and
other departments
- Assist Accounting/Finance department with
report preparations, etc.
- Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash
receipts & petty cash
- Assist in accounting schedules & filing
- Prepare Invoices
- Balance accounts and verify deposits
- Create journal entries, upload and clearing
- Assist with month-end financial reports
- Post journal entries
- Bank statement reconciliation
- Assist with audits
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Work with the finance team on yearly
forecasting efforts
- Manage the monthly tracking of our physical
inventory
- Support the payment processing team
- Data entry
- Credit checks
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the
individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Accounting
and Finance.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
(preferably Word, Excel and Outlook)
- CPA 3
- Strong organization skills and attention to
detail
- Integrity and the ability to handle
confidential information
- Ability to handle difficult situations
professionally including excellent phone communication skills
