Vacancy: Supply Chain Co-ordinator
Summary: Our client, Lupain Investments Kenya Limited is a
player in the oil industry and one of the leading resellers of oil
products.
Currently have operations in Kenya
and South Sudan well as making inroads to other countries in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure effective and efficient supply by
monitoring and managing demand & supply planning processes to produce
accurate demand plans and efficient supply plans to achieve customer
service level target and minimizing distribution costs.
- Follow-up with suppliers to ensure goods and
services are delivered as required and on time;
- Take charge of Inventory Planning,
forecasting, stocks reconciliation
- Responsible for logistics planning and
arrangements facilitating efficient transportation, storage and
Distribution of suppliers
- Ensure compliance on HSE policies on all areas
of our operations;
- Ensured Contracted transporters and trucks if
any progressively meet established contractual obligations and
safety standards;
- Liaise with suppliers/customers on order sizes
to place depending on truck compartments and truck availabilities to
ensure our trucks are used optimally; this also include timely placement
of orders
- Handled customer/suppliers complaints and
liaise with various departments on order and supply issues so that
complaints are resolved effectively to ensure we managed as per Service
Level Agreements.
- Plan, organize, coordinate supply chain
processes for the company such as purchasing, customer service and
logistics with the responsibility for ensuring the execution of all
company rules, policies, procedures and programs in support of the goals
and objectives established to avoid costly delays and lost sales
opportunities.
- Ensure excellent supplier management
encompassing quality, on-time delivery and responsiveness. Manage and
control internal and external customer relationship through the
implementation of best practices, distribution planning and customer
communications.
- Coordinate budgetary planning in relation to
supply and logistics and negotiate improved pricing, product quality and
delivery times.
- Put in place and enforce inventory management
systems so as to ensure including maximum stock levels and reorder levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business field from a
recognised University.
- Post-graduate qualification in Supply Chain
Management, Operations Management or Procurement is desirable.
- Experience in trading environment as well as
competitive sourcing is desired
- Strong negotiation skills
- At least Five (7) years experience in supply
chain and logistics; similar industry is preferred.
- Self confident with a strong analytical and
decision-making ability.
- Results-oriented with an ability to deliver
and meet tight deadlines.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales and Marketing Executive will be responsible for growing assigned segment (s), to achieve company objectives for business development, growth, retention and profitability.
Specific Responsibilities
- Strategically prospect and acquire new
business and customers to grow volume and develop various product lines.
- Implement oil and lubricants business
strategies and tactics to respond to changes in business environment
- Grow the company business in different market
segments namely; Consumer, Resellers/Distributors among others
- Ensure customers requirements are defined
understood and documented and follows up on amicable resolution of
customer complaints and feedback.
- Manage sales volumes of through regular and
planned visits to customers and prospects.
- Follow up on prospective customers and
negotiates terms and conditions for approval and maintains existing
customers ensuring that agreed terms and conditions are followed.
- Ascertain various product ranges to be
marketed by the company and monitor market condition, trends, and
competitor activities.
- Maintain customers’ database, sales analysis,
sales projections and maintains sales records.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business or a relevant
degree
- At least 7 years experience preferably in the
oil industry
- Selling and Presentation skills
- Experience dealing with cash customers
- Excellent negotiation skills and Relationship
Management
- Working experience in oil products
- Good customer management skills
Vacancy: Chief Accountant
Summary: Our
client, Lupain Investments Kenya Limited is a player in the oil industry and
one of the leading resellers of oil products. Currently have operations in
Kenya and South Sudan as well as making inroads to other countries in the
region.
Reporting to the Managing Director,
the Chief Accountant will be responsible for managing the finance arm of the
organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the accounting section with the aim of
achieving Finance Department objectives
- Manage the full spectrum of costing and
financial accounting, forecasting and budgeting as well as preparing final
accounts.
- Develop and strengthen internal control; this
also includes ensuring adherence to set controls
- Develop financial policies, systems and
procedures and communicate these to affected parties to monitor and ensure
compliance in line with International Accounting Standards and generally
accepted accounting principles
- Responsible for maintaining a stable cash-flow
for the organisation by drawing up cash flow projections and appraising
debtors & creditors to ensure steady cash flow.
- Ensure accurate and complete posting of
accounting data and the generation of trial balance.
- Enforce financial discipline across the
organization and ensure all departments operate within the laid down
financial policy framework.
- Production of timely and accurate management
reports against strict deadlines.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and ensuring
the care of company assets
- Responsible for maintaining accuracy and
timeliness of inventory controls and cost controls.
- Monitor general ledger postings, ensuring that
accounting records are accurate and established standards are adhered to.
- Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and
working closely with relevant departments in analyzing margins, variances
and cost analysis.
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs,
revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future
revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
- Analyze financial information to recommend or
develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic
recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA finalist
- At least 5 years experience as a Senior
Accountant
- Experience in trading is desired
- Working knowledge of accounting packages
- Working experience with Sage pastel or ACCPAC
accounting software
- An understanding of financing opportunities is
also desired
