Regional Membership Registration Agents
Performers Rights Society of Kenya
(PRISK) is a Collective Management Organization licensed by the Kenya Copyright
Board under the Copyright Act, Cap 130 Laws of Kenya to represent performers of
sound recordings and audiovisual works.
PRISK’s mandate is to collect and distribute royalties on behalf of its
rightsholders which includes musicians and actors in accordance with Section 30
(A) of the Copyright Act, Cap 130 Laws of Kenya.Purpose: PRISK seeks to engage independent Membership Registration Agents on commission basis in the following regions;
- Mombasa
- Nyeri
- Kisumu
- Kakamega
- Meru
- Kisii
- Eldoret
- Machakos
- Nakuru
The main duties of the MRAs will be
the registration of recording musicians and actors in their respective regions
and answering any questions the prospective members would have concerning
PRISK.
The MRAs will report to the Documentation & Distribution Officer.

- Excellent written and verbal communication
skills in English, Kiswahili and mother tongue
- Formal presentation skills
- Creative, critical and strategic thinking
- Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Persuasive and effective articulation of
issues
- Having an excellent network in the
entertainment industry and a good knowledge of intellectual property law
will be an added advantage
