Vacancies in an International Engineering and Infrastructure Firm: Our client, a leading engineering company involved in numerous infrastructure development projects in water & environment; buildings & industrial structures; power transmission projects and mining, among other physical infrastructure installations, has contracted Parker Randall EA Ltd to oversee the recruitment of dynamic, experienced and self-motivated individuals with excellent leadership skills, who will form the core team that will deliver on their strategic intent and business in Africa.
 
We seek a competent individual for the following position:-

Chief Finance Officer
Position (1)
Location: 
Nairobi with frequent travel across Africa
 

Job Summary: Provide leadership to the finance function and contribute to the continued development of the group through the provision of effective and efficient financial and accounting systems and procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide advice to the executive management on the financial implications of business activities.
  • Provide leadership in the development, implementation and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
  • Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job costing system.
  • Represent the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, auditors and other stake holders.
  • Oversee long-term budgetary planning and costs management in alignment with the company’s strategic plan especially as the company considers potential acquisitions and collaborations with external organizations.
  • Develop and utilize forecasts and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organisation’s operations and business plans.
Qualifications and Experience
  • MBA – Finance
  • Bachelor of Commerce – Finance / Accounting
  • CPA-K/ACCA
  • Membership to ICPAK/ACCA
  • Minimum of 10 years of financial experience with five (5) years in senior financial management.
  • Must be aged between 40 – 45 years.
