Research Analyst Job Opportunity in a

Key Responsibilities
- Managing the digital
and field data collection platform from questionnaires and other means.
- Supervision of data
collection – (data collection done using hand held gadgets and other
methods).
- Data cleaning and
integrity checks / Quality control, data analysis and reporting.
- Brand tracking and
longitudinal market research coordination and supervision.
- Training departmental
and marketing staff on use of data analysis software’s.
- Good computer modeling
and statistical analysis skills (SPSS).
- Prepare research
reports and share them with management for action
- Mapping out key
research issues and planning to have them analysed.
- Carrying out market
intelligence and competitor products analysis as well as market share
studies
- Perform any other
research related duties as required from time to time.
Qualification
and Background
- At least a
degree in Statistics and or Quantitative Analysis from a recognized
institution
- At least four (4)
years’ experience in market/product analysis and research with a FMCG or
research firm
- Good grasp of the
Consumer/FMCG industry and the trends in the
- Mature and quick
witted with the ability to fit in a fast paced business environment
- Ability to think on
their feet and act fast to capture market related information for
management action
- Strong relationship
building skills
- Excellent report
writing and communications skills

complex issues into easy product or market language
- Demonstrate initiative
and the ability to work effectively and enthusiastically within time
constraints
- Keen understanding of
use of new technologies in research and analysis
