Job Duties:
- Determining cost of operations by establishing
standard costs; collecting operational data.
- Identifying financial status by comparing and
analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Guiding cost analysis process by establishing
and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts;
explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
- Improving financial status by analyzing
results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to
management.
- Reconciling transactions by comparing and
correcting data.
- Maintaining database by entering, verifying,
and backing up data.
- Recommending actions by analyzing and interpreting
data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods
and materials.
- Increasing productivity by developing
automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements.
- Protecting operations by keeping financial
information confidential.
- Maintaining technical knowledge by attending
educational workshops; reviewing publications.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing
related results as needed.
- Support and evaluate investment decisions
which deliver maximum value to the company
- Ownership of month end closure, ensuring
monthly financials reflect accurate view of financial performance and any
significant variances fully explained
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Accountancy.
Must have previous Financial Analyst experience in a Group Company
- CPA K and a member of ICPAK
- Must be able to read and understand financial
statements
- Excellent financial modeling and analytical
skills
- Prior experience with Pastel Accounting
Software is highly desirable
- Effectively communicates with and engages all
levels of the organization verbally and in writing
- Highly motivated with a strong sense of
urgency and attention to detail
- A strong commitment to excellence and high
standards of integrity, professionalism, loyalty, honesty, respect, open
mindedness, open communication, respect, and business ethics is required.
