Vacancy: Assistant Financial Accountant

Responsibilities:
- Monthly management account preparation
- Production of profit and loss
- To complete and maintain sales invoices and
reports
- Management of accruals & pre-payments
- Preparation of the Accounts Pack for review
- Bank reconciliation, posting and balancing
- Weekly wages, petty cash and other journal
posting
- Daily bank receipts postings
- Year budget preparation
- Year end audit analysis
- Set up new suppliers on the accounting
software
- Reports on debtors and creditors
- Quarterly VAT returns preparation
Requirements:
- Must be a Rwandese National
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce
or Finance
- Professional qualification in Accounts will be
an added advantage
- At least 1 year experience in a busy work
environment
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight
deadlines
- Knowledge in use of basic Accounting software
– Quickbooks and/or Navision
- Strong computer skills –Ms Office software
- Good spoken and written skills in the English
language
