Accounts Clerk Job Vacancy in Kenya

Job Title: Accounts Clerk
Reports To:Director    
Role Summary: Reporting to the Director, the Accounts Clerk will be responsible for Book keeping, cashiering and Stock monitoring.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Payments of creditors, salaries and other statutory bodies
  • Tabulation and payment of VAT and other levies.
  • In liaison with the Restaurant Supervisor prepare the days budget and arrange for purchases
  • Cash management through ensuring reconciliation against of sales.
  • Stock Control; Monitoring of stock by maintaining a stock inventory and reorder level.
  • Report writing  preparing the daily sales/stock report to the director
  • Preparation of monthly accounts for the company
  • Any other duties as assigned
  • The candidate must possess a minimum of a CPA 1
  • Must have at least  1 years work experience in a business involving high volume sales
  • Must have good problem solving skills
  • Team Management will be an added advantage
  • Must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
