Job Description: Content Management Officer 
 
Objectives and Position in the Company
 
Content Management

  • To maintain the content of Furniture Elegance social media platforms and website, in conjunction with the Web Developer and Internal Management.
  • To update and edit the website with available materials (text, photos, and videos) to ensure its reach, interest and accuracy to identified key audiences.
  • To ensure that the website and content retains its unique ‘look and feel’ with appropriate creative thinking and current trends.
  • To ensure all content on the website is accurate and timely and to contribute to reports about the current and future use of web technologies
  • To provide CMS training when required.
  • To monitor, report and advise on the use by visitors of the website using appropriate analytics tools.
Social Media Marketing
  • Develops strategies and tactics to support FE business objectives via social media channels
  • Integrates social media strategy with integrated marketing communications plans to support business strategies throughout FE.
  • Assesses the opportunity to use social media to reach specific target audiences.
  • Develops and implements tactical plans to support marketing strategies, including creating programs that generate traffic to our sites, incite conversation and engagement, and grow advocacy and community.
  • Continuously investigates and evolves social listening and engagement methods to optimize efforts in audience segmentation, acquisition, engagement, retention, research and new product development.
  • Establishes metrics to track, analyze, optimize and report out progress against business and marketing objectives.
  • Assures integration of social platforms with paid & natural search, web, mobile and traditional media.
  • Procures and develops social content, makes branded content more socially relevant, distributes content across social networks, and raises awareness of FE, its brands and the issues that its stakeholders and target audiences cares about across social channels.
  • Collaborates with functional and business partners and influence appropriate integration of social executions with online/offline program components from planning phases through execution.
  • Ensures communications through social media use appropriate tone, follow enterprise communication policies and meet regulatory and legal standards.
Email Marketing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategy and execute accurate and effective email campaigns, messaging and offers.
  • Manage all aspects of email campaign operations, including list management and segmentation, dynamic content and scripting, and deliverability monitoring
  • Provide campaign analysis to provide strategic insights
  • Continuously optimize email strategies to drive higher returns including A/B testing of subject lines, message content, images, offers, mailing frequency, segments and more
  • Utilize email test results to integrate and improve website and catalog offers and messaging
  • Manage strategy and functions of triggered email programs; oversees timely reporting and documentation of email marketing campaigns
  • Identify key performance metrics, develop reports and derive actionable insights

  • Position holder will be based in the Head Quarter’s Nairobi office.
  • Plan, strategize and implement content management, social media and email marketing objectives.
  • Liaise with marketing, sales and management team to bring out company objectives effectively.

Qualifications

Education
  • University degree in marketing/advertising/communication/ science related fields.

  • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.

  • To liaise with respective suppliers in relation to printing marketing and advertising media.
  • To monitor, report and advise on the impact of marketing media using appropriate analytics tools.
  • Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size.
  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Dreamweaver and Flash.
Website Maintenance
