- Offers and follow up for Large Projects
(including updated database with all made offers).
- Management of relations with collaborating
companies for large construction projects
- Responsibility for monitoring and managing big
projects
- Monitoring of law in relation to products and
projects
- Proposals of improvement of the range and
characteristics of the products and introduction of new products
- Responsibility for composing and submitting
proposals to the suppliers concerning the improvement of the products
offered.
- Updating actions for Indirect Customers (i.e.
conferences for Architects)
- Training and expansion of Direct Customers
- Any other duty assigned by your supervisor

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering
- Computer proficient in AUTO CAD
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Computer proficient in AUTO CAD
- Experience in Aluminium building Systems
- Supervisory/Management
- At least three (3) years relevant experience
in a reputable construction organization

Workshop Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan, direct and coordinate all fabrication
& assembly activities for stainless steel division in the workshop
- Maintaining quality control procedures
- Ensuring work is done using clients
specification given on each job order
- Ensure delivery of works within the given time
frame.
- Ensure the final works are of high quality and
finishes
- Forwarding required material list to the
management, procurement and other concerned staff regarding fabrication
materials to ensure uninterrupted and smooth supply of fabricating
products
- Ensure update of stock levels in the workshop
- Avail and interpret clients specification to
fabricators
- Ensure the final works are professionally completed
- Give updates on every project assigned through
project reports to your immediate supervisor/director
- Supervise usage of materials in the workshop
- Facilitate proper time management of employees
reporting time and ensuring least time is taken to produce more and
quality works
- Observe punctuality
- To plan, manage and maintain all resources
(Machinery & tools, Material, Manpower) required for smooth,
uninterrupted and efficient operations in workshop
- Maintain Health & Safety standards in
workshop as per company policy and standards to avoid injuries
- Report to your supervisor any incident of an
accident in the workshop

Requirements
- Holder of a KCSE certificate and above
- Technical training in Welding and fabrication
(stainless steel) or related qualifications
- Candidate should have hands on experience of
managing a fabrication / assembly facility; thorough understanding of
relevant fabrication & assembly processes, machinery tools and
materials used is a must.
- Some experience related to stainless steel and
/ office, residential related fabrication works would be an added
advantage.
- At least three (3) years relevant experience
in similar field

As a welder / fabricator you will be
responsible for Welding and fabricating structural steel works, Welding and
fabricating sectional steels works.
Responsibilities
- Ensure assigned work is understood prior to
commencing.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead
positions.
- Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding
processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion,
or expansion of material.
- Examine work pieces for defects, and measure
work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with
specifications.
- Layout, position, align, and secure parts and
assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares,
calipers, and rulers.
- Report all nonconforming material to the
Welding Team Leader immediately.
- Complete housekeeping duties in assigned area
or project area on a daily basis and/or when required.
- Complete assigned work within given timeframe
and according to specifications.
- Perform other job responsibilities as assigned
by your supervisor.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining quality control procedures
- Demonstrate effective risk management and
mitigation practices through proper risk identification, assessment,
tracking and communication.
- Lead project meetings with contractor and
stakeholders effectively delivering results in a timely manner.
- Actively manage and report on the status of
the project schedule and budget.
- Monitor the contract progress and make
recommendation to client for contractor payments.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to plan
the project effectively, by ensuring that the project requirements,
specification, design drawings, health and safety proposals are all read,
understood and agreed, and that a project programme is in place.
- Set up an emergency plan and general site
facilities for the project, ensuring that these are in line with the
health and safety proposal.
- Form and maintain the storage facilities and
manage stock planning so that stock, materials, plant and tools are
organised to meet the timescales for the project.
- Formulate a material schedule for the project,
including take off from issued drawings and specifications, and produce
requisitions as far ahead of programme periods as possible to enable best
prices to be obtained by the Procurement Department.
- Maintain the work schedule and track progress,
keeping records on file and copying weekly records to project manager/
office.
- To manage building contracts on-site, liaising
with the Project Manager, client, sub contractors and other trades,
co-ordinating all aspects of the works.
- Oversee/provide a first aid facilities,
ensuring there is a first aid area is kept clean and first aid kit
is well stocked.
- Ensure safety to public, site visitors and
staff on site at all times, ensuring that preventative measures are taken,
including personal protection, following safety instructions and following
all aspects of the health and safety proposal for the site.
- Maintain security of completed works,
perimeter barriers, stored materials and plant, at all times during the
project
- Supervise and manage all site based
operatives, overseeing all aspects of their work, to include; carrying out
safety inductions; tool box talks; controlling quality of work; ensuring
method statement and order fulfilment; cleanliness & tidiness; the use
of plant and tools, waste reduction; upkeep of plant and facilities; use
of personal protection equipment/wear,
- Check that all materials used, including those
used by sub contractors, are compliant with technical and quality
specifications.
- Keep photographic survey of all site
operations and works and forward to the office via line manager.
- Maintain and track deliveries, ensure that
stock and materials are deployed properly, off load/check all deliveries
to relevant storage facilities, and manage stock issue, adhering at all times
to operational needs and with due regard for health, safety and security
- Advising and implementing cost savings at all
times, and represent the company in a professional and proactive manner in
all dealings with those associated with, and affected by, the building
project.
- Any other duty assigned to you by your
supervisor from time to time.

- Must be registered with National Construction
