Customer Relations Manager Job in Kenya

Our client is a well-established market leader in the provision of Logistics & Transport solutions in Kenya and the East African region.

 Customer Relations Manager
Main Purpose of the Job: Customer Relations Manager will be the Key Account Manager responsible for establishing and maintaining long term relationships with our clients to maximize sales opportunities, this position bet-fit requirements as follows:-

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the existing customer relationships, including transportation requests, cargo documentation, invoicing, and debt collection, claims management, input for reporting, contract renewal, related negotiations, and all other aspects;
  • Identify opportunities to grow volumes with existing customers;
  • Develop new business and new customer relationships for business unit, by signing new long-term contracts;
  • Identify and grow client base through various sales channels including direct selling, agent partnerships etc; 
  • Take full responsibility for the achievement of individual key performance indicators; mainly sales volumes and revenues targets; 
  • Act as the key interface between customer and internal divisions in order to effectively plan and manage loading and offloading schedules;
  • Translate customer requirements into internal action, i.e. planning and manage loading and offloading schedules as well as plan required capacity;
  • Keep abreast of industry activities and recommend any necessary action to grow potential business;
  • Proactively identify and address issues arising in their area of business, and find creative solutions in a timely manner

  • 3 years’ experience in areas such as customer service, sales & Marketing, or customer relationship management in a logistics company
