ZAF’s Vision is to ensure communities
live quality and dignified lives .Today ZAF has a presence in the Nairobi,
Kiambu, Lamu, Makueni, Machakos and Kajiado counties. Our Headquarters is
in Nairobi.
Purpose: ZAF has planned to develop a strategic plan for the
next five years 2016 -2020. In this regard ZAF wishes to engage the services of
a consultant to support in the development process of this strategic
plan.
Expected Outputs: A five (5) years strategic plan to support the
organization in achieving its vision and mission.
Scope of Work: Under this assignment, the consultant will work with ZAF board members, secretariat and stakeholders in the development of the organizations strategic plan

Timing of Assignment: The assignment will be carried out between November
and December 2014 and the total number of days will not exceed seven (7)
working days.
Required Qualifications
The qualified consultants must be from a registered consultancy firm which has been in existence for at least five (5) years and has developed atleast ten (10 ) strategic plans touching on Gender and Human Right, Child Support and Protection, Primary and Preventive Health Care and Secure and Sustainable livelihoods and Income Generating Activities programs.
Required Qualifications
The qualified consultants must be from a registered consultancy firm which has been in existence for at least five (5) years and has developed atleast ten (10 ) strategic plans touching on Gender and Human Right, Child Support and Protection, Primary and Preventive Health Care and Secure and Sustainable livelihoods and Income Generating Activities programs.
Excellent analytical, writing and facilitation skills.
A minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in Strategic Planning from either the private or public sector but with bias to nonprofit making NGOs and not for profit sectors.
He/she must have an understanding of national, regional and international frameworks guiding development work in Kenya in regards to the programs stated above.
The consultants must be conversant
with PBOs guidelines.
The firm is expected to submit Curriculum for two of its people to be engaged in this process; that for the lead and assistant consultants.
The firm to submit its profile with keen attention on Past performance reference.
Attach copies of the firm’s certificate of registration, KRA Clearance certificate and KRA PIN number.

The auditors shall make a report to
the members of the accounts examined by them and on every Balance sheet laid
before the Organization at it Annual General Meeting (AGM)during their tenure
of office, and report shall state:
- Whether or not they have obtained all the
information and explanations they have required.
- Whether, in their opinion, the balance sheet
referred to in the report is properly drawn up so as to exhibit a true and
correct view of the state of the Organization’s affairs.
- Will be required to be present during the AGM
meeting(s)
- Perform as per letter of engagement

The auditing firm must be registered, has been in existence for at least Six (6) years and has conducted audits for the last four (4) years.
The firm is expected to submit Curriculum for two of its senior auditors.
