Milly Fruits Processors Ltd is
physically located in Mtwapa along the main Mombasa – Malindi Road. It
was incorporated in the year 2000 but the factory has been in existence since
1988.
The Company processes and supplies of various types of fruits, pulps/juices and concentrates.
Senior Accountant
Maintain proper accounting records
and proper management of the General ledger through daily monitoring and
ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the General ledger.
Key Responsibilities:
- Book-keeping and reviewing the accounts on
regular basis for the accuracy of entries passed;
- Debtors /creditors reconciliation on weekly
basis and credit control for timely collection of payments;
- Payments processing for creditors and other
liabilities including statutory payments;
- Preparation of Excise, VAT, NHIF, NSSF, PAYE
returns on monthly basis;
- Reconciliation of stocks on daily basis and
monthly physical stock taking;
- Review of excise duty with production and
sales figures; and
- Review of sales and purchase invoices.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or
Commerce or equivalent from a recognized institution;
- Part qualified CPA (K)/ACCA (Minimum CPA
Section 5 or ACCA Professional level);
- Over 2 years of experience in a busy
environment (candidates with manufacturing experience will be given
priority);
- Excellent communication, analytical and report
writing skills;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Good planning and organization skills;
- A team player, able to cope with a highly
challenging environment; and
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
