The main purpose of this role will be to manage the finance function of the company in a professional manner to ensure company meets its financial obligations on a day to day basis.

The main duties and responsibilities
will include to:
- Administer and monitor financial system in
order to ensure the organization’s finances are maintained in accurate and
timely manner
- Maintain the accounts payable and receivable
systems in order to ensure complete and accurate records.
- Establish and perform an effective budgetary
monitoring system to ensure that it is as per the approved plan and that
any variance is explained.
- Prepare the finance expenses budget and
consolidate the same for the company for management presentation and
approval by the board.
- Manage company liquidity on a day to day basis
to ensure that the funds are always available to meet any obligation that
may arise.
- Ensure monthly and annual accounts are
prepared within the stipulated time to assist management and directors in
prompt decision making.
- Provide effective and efficient office
management e.g. order office supplies, manage repairs of office equipment
- Ensure compliance with tax authorities and
that all accounting procedures are being followed to ensure compliance
with financial standards and regulators requirements, among others.
- Prepare regular financial reports as required
by the Directors
The suitable candidate for the
position should have:
- Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent
- Professional qualifications such as CPA Part
III, ACCA or equivalent
- Accounting/financing experience of over 4
years
- High level of accuracy and keen to detail

The main purpose of the role is to ensure customer satisfaction by producing and ensuring timely delivery of goods in right quality and quantity through offering technical and support services in production.

Responsibilities
- Preparing Production plans and budgets based
on sound business forecasts
- Coordinates, schedules, facilitates and
monitors production activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure production machineries are in good
condition through a regular maintenance and reporting to Management on the
same
- Organize and implement a production work
schedule for processing requests while maintaining a production database
and job log.
- Forecasting trends in plastic technology and
processes
- Create and implement an accountability system
for each phase of the production schedule to ensure timely completion and
availability of projects
- Ensure availability of raw materials and
maintain inventory of paper, bindery supplies, toner, and other
consumables;
- Supervision of the Production team including
ensuring performance reviews are carried out
- Monitor performance of the employees to ensure
they attain planned production outputs at optimal efficiency.
- Analyze performance reports of machines to
minimize machine downtime and ensure consistency in work flow of product
line.
- Translate product sales projections into
material requirements and requisitions to the supply chain to ensure
continuous production.
- Monitor production quality to ensure
conformance to established specifications.
- Prepare and submit production information for
decision making.
- Compile vital statistics for sharing with
other heads of departments to foster team work
- Training the employees in the department to
ensure efficiency at all times.
Qualification, Experience and
Competencies
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
- Minimum of Seven (7) years experience in
production process
- Three years in a management position.
- Experience in Plastic/Polythene Industry will
be an added advantage.
Production Quality Controller /
Manager
The main purpose of the job is to ensure and maintain quality standards of the company products and for effective customer service.

- Develop Quality Management Systems to ensure
that the company products meet the required quality standards
- Integrate quality control and operations
personnel for cross functional interaction to ensure maintenance of
product quality
- Monitor and review quality specifications,
standards, designed quality systems and procedures
- Establish standardization of products and
services by setting up quality specifications, testing procedures and
methodologies
- Develop quality inspection for the finished
product brands and packaging materials for quality assurance and
satisfaction the customers
- Manage the sections’ staff and their
performance by ensuring set targets are met and recommended improvements
including individual staff development are implemented
- Liaise with marketing team to design and
develop appropriate product brands for the market
- Planning and coordinating internal/external
assessment for QMS assurance survey.
- Facilitate improvement actions based on
assessment findings.
- Ensuring compliance with national and
international standards.
- Establish and monitor critical quality and
business process objectives and metrics complementary to corporate
policies and goals.
- Drive continuous improvement through effective
management of internal quality audits.
- Coordinates external quality system audits
- Develop operating standards (SOP’s) for
production operations that meet best practice guidelines.
- Bringing together staff of different
disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree on
comprehensive quality procedures. This also involves training of the staff
on the same.
- Ensure that any problems relating to the
product, process and quality are identified and recorded through the non-conformance
and both corrective and preventive actions taken.
- Represent the organization’s quality system to
customers and external parties.
Qualification & Experience
- Degree in manufacturing and production
Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- At least five years practical experience in
manufacturing/production as a section head.
- Over 5 years working experience in Quality
Assurance management,
- Strong interpersonal relations
- High integrity
- Knowledge of ISO systems – QMS, Safety,
Environmental etc.
- Communication and presentation skills
- Leadership skills
