We are looking for a qualified 
graduate intern to join ourFundraising and Practical Action Consulting team

This intern should be prepared to work in a fast paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of fundraising, projects quality assurance, administrative support and exposure to programs work.

Duties and Responsibilities:
·                     Conduct desktop research on prospective donors and clients including newspapers and magazine review of opportunities
·                     Provide support in seeking opportunities for Practical Action in Eastern Africa to participate in international development awards and other profile-raising activities
·                     Assist Fundraising & QA Manager to maintain and update pipeline reports in consultation with programme teams
·                     Assist in the preparation and submission of Expression of Interest (EOIs) and proposals
·                     Assist in the development and maintenance of the strategic fit checklist for each proposed project/assignment:,
·                     Assist in the compilation, collation and analysis of Key Performance Indicator reports and other project deliverables
·                     Supporting the preparation of PR materials (such as case studies, leaflets) and implementation of PR events
·                     Assist in following-up with finance department on contracts that are due for payment; assist in preparation of payment requests and invoice tracking
·                     Liaise with Resource Centre Office to handle external technical enquiries
·                     Assist in maintaining and updating PAC timesheets and accruals
·                     Participate in team meetings as required
·                     Undertake any other relevant duties assigned from time to time by the line manager. 
Requirements
·                     A graduate in Energy, Environmental Sciences, Climate change, Business Development or other relevant fields. 
·                     This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili, with the ability to conduct desktop research. 
·                     Some experience in marketing (perhaps an event or product) is a bonus and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position. 
·                     PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is required.
