Group Finance Manager

technology driven business solutions.Our client is looking for a seasoned individual to take up the role of Group Finance Manager to manage and oversee the Groups global Financial Operations which cut across the Eastern Africa countries of Kenya, Ethiopia, Burundi and Rwanda, the Southern Africa countries of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola and Mozambique, the Western African countries of Ghana and Nigeria and Portugal in Europe.

Job Purpose/Summary
The Group Finance Manager will be responsible for the analysis and report of key financial data within the organisation ensuring that managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information in areas that may include financial advice and support to the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors and Senior Managers to enable them to make sound business decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing and evaluating profit and loss and
cash flow statements to determine which areas of the business are profitable
and which areas are underperforming
- Managing investment activities by overseeing
investment opportunities and ensure that a cash management strategy is in
place
- Determine long-range development and
investment strategies in order to ensure the company is profitable and
cash flow positive
- Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and
predicting future trends
- Supervises investment and raising of funds for
business
- Direct financial strategy, planning and
forecasts
- Develop and maintain systems of internal
controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization
- Oversee the management and coordination of all
financial reporting activities for the organization
- Formulating strategic and long-term business
plans
- Developing and maintaining liaison with tax
advisors and KRA officials
- Providing internal and external auditors with
all assistance as required
- Developing financial management mechanisms
that minimise financial risk
- Managing a company's financial accounting,
monitoring and reporting systems
- Studies, analyses and reports on trends,
opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth
- Oversees all company accounting practices,
including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports,
tax and audit function
Minimum Requirements
- Degree Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or
Finance
- Master’s degree in Finance will be an added
advantage
- Minimum 8-10 years in a senior finance
position
- CPA(K) or ACCA professional qualifications
- Experience in Telecommunication or ICT firms
- An understanding of the GAAP with proven
expertise in strategic financial planning and execution
- Demonstrable experience of working in
financial management with solid knowledge and experience in tax,
reporting, compliance, treasury, and trade finance
- Strong understanding of Accounting Systems and
ERP accounting software is essential

They are looking to fill the position of Sales Account Manager which will report to the
Managing Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Acquire and retain clients
- Understand the client requisitions and present
samples
- Present client needs to the production manager
for production
- Ensure high quality and timely deliveries are
made to clients
- Prepare and present quotations to clients
- Prepare and present job cards to the
production manager detailing the job requirements
- Any other duty other duties assigned by
management
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications
and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
preferably in Marketing.
- A minimum of 2 years progressive sales &
marketing in the production industry.
- In-depth working knowledge and experience in
sales & marketing.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Salary Budget: Kshs. 40,000 – 50,000
