  • A holder of a Bachelor of Architecture or bachelor of Building Economics or Bachelor of Quantity Surveying. Additional academic qualification shall be an added advantage,
  • A minimum of four years work experience in government agency, busy private professional Architectural, Quantity Surveying or related practice or construction business organization.
  • Have a strong planning and organizing and interpersonal skills including a thorough and methodical approach and ability to prioritize on work requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
 
A County Chief Officer will be in charge of administration in the respective portfolio.
 
He /She will be the Accounting and Authorized Officer responsible for:
  • Providing strategic policy direction for improved service delivery;
  • Developing and implementing an effective performance management system;
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans;
  • Ensuring efficient and effective use of Financial and Human Resources, management of information systems and regular financial reporting as required;
  • Maintaining effective collaboration and partnerships with other organs of the County Government, other County Government Ministries, the private sector and other stakeholders;
  • Providing leadership in mainstreaming Information Communication Technology in the operations of the respective portfolio;
  • Promoting values and principles spelt out in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya in the operations of the respective portfolio;
  • Ensuring the achievement of the goals and objectives of Kenya Vision 2030 and of other County and Inter-Governmental programs and projects.
  • Performing any other functions as directed by the respective County Executive Committee Member.
