HR and Administration Assistant II Job in Kenya

MSF Switzerland (MSFCH) is a humanitarian medical organization providing emergency medical aid to populations in need.

Job Title: HR and Administration Assistant II – Kenya Mission

Location: Dagahaley, Dadaab   

Start date: ASAP

Length of contract: 1 Year (renewable)

Main Tasks: The responsible person assures an appropriate quality of work within the HRM cycle. The HR Assistant is in charge of administrative issues for national staff at Project level.

Main Tasks:
  • Keeps personnel files up-to-date at all time.
  • Maintains electronic database of all employees.
  • Assists with end of month payroll.
  • Applies MSFCH policies and management procedures and tools.
  • Assures appropriate quality for all personal files and keeps them up-to-date at all time.
  • Prepares registration of employees to Social security & Tax office and related payments.


  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Administration
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Human Resources and Administration
  • Previous MSF experience will be preferred
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Familiarity or experience working with an HR database, especially Homere
  • Due to the nature of work, Kenyan nationals with ability to speak Somali are encouraged to apply
