Front Office Assistant Job in Kenya

Summary: Our client is a General Insurance Provider whose range of products includes Personal Accident, Liability, Medical, and Miscellaneous classes of General Insurance. 

The organization is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill in the position of a Front Office Assistant.

The Front Office Assistant’s overall purpose is to ensure that the impression of the company both in face to face communication and telephone is projected as resourceful to both internal staff and external clients/visitors.

Position Title: Front Office Assistant

Reports To: HR Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive telephone calls and visiting clients with decorum, to identify their needs and accord them the necessary assistance
  • Monitor and ensure the reception area is clean and tidy to present the correct image of the company.
  • Receive, record and sort incoming and outgoing mail and parcels to ensure correct destination
  • Update birthday records and arrange birthday breakfasts to motivate staff
  • Provide administrative support for meetings, new employee induction, and staff welfare.

Knowledge & Experience Required

Essential
  • Diploma in Secretarial or Business related field
  • 6 months working experience in a busy front office position
  • Experience working in a busy switchboard
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
