Director Finance and
Administration
One Position
The Finance
and Administration Directorate is coordinated by the Director / Finance &
Administration and comprises the following units:
- Administration Department
- Human Resource Management
- Accounts and Finance Department
- Internal Audit Department
- Information and Technology Department
Duties and Responsibilities
- Strong organizational, analytical, financial management and administrative skills
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current legislation
- Oversee all payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner
- Advise on appropriate technology that meets the organization’s information and technology requirements and financial resources
- Oversee and supervise the administrative function of the Assembly
- Oversee the management of all leases, contracts and other financial commitments made by the Assembly
Requirements for Appointment
- Master’s in Business Administration Accounting and/or Finance option
- Bachelor of Administration /Commerce Accounting and/or Finance option
- Professional Accounting qualifications (CPA (K)/ACCA equivalent)
- Member of ICPAK
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point and knowledge of financial software programs IFMIS and IPPD;
- Must have 7 years working experience and 5 years in senior Finance and/or Accounting Management in Public Service or a recognized institution.

Passport, and other relevant supporting documents.
In
addition, interested applicants should submit certificates of clearance from
the Ethics & Anti-corruption Commission, Higher Education Loans Board, Kenya
Revenue Authority and Certificate of Good Conduct as part of compliance with
Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
