MTN Business Kenya Limited is the business division of MTN Group. The company focuses on providing corporate communication solutions to small and large businesses through its modern and reliable network infrastructure in the region.

We wish to identify: highly competent, proactive, energized and self driven individuals to fill the following two positions based in Nairobi and Kisumu, Kenya.

Drivers

Reporting to the Human Resource and Administration Manager, the ideal candidates will be responsible for driving staff to site visits, maintenance of company vehicles, collecting/dispatching company mails and any other official duties of company.

The incumbent shall be responsible for:
  • Driving company vehicles.
  • Collecting/dispatching company mails and documents.
  • Maintaining the vehicle daily trips and the mileage books.
  • Reporting any detected defects in the vehicles and any accidents and incidents.
  • Scheduling company vehicles for service when due, supervising the mechanic on necessary repairs and checks.
  • Ensuring vehicle insurance, inspection report and speed governor certificate are renewed.
  • Monitoring the expiration and renewal of his/her driver’s license without causing any inconvenience to the client or the company scheduled.
  • Responsible for the security of company cars /their contents and ensuring that the vehicles are parked at the designated parking area.    
  • Observing company rules, regulation, policies, directives and instruction of the company.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly vehicle reports.

Knowledge, skills and ability required:
  • Driving licence BCE and a certificate of good conduct.
  • At least three years driving experience with a valid driving licence
  • Basic Motor vehicle mechanics skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Nairobi/Kisumu cities and their environs.
  • The driver needs to be vigilant, sincere responsible and  a team player
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
