Administrative Assistant Job in Nairobi Kenya

The UW has been conducting medical research and program activities in Kenya for over 25 years.

As part of this endeavor, the Treatment, Research and Expert Education (TREE) program has contributed to HIV medical research and has developed HIV treatment, prevention and management capacity through training, clinical mentorship, and webcast distance learning lectures.

The University of Washington, in collaboration with the University of Nairobi, is in the process of implementing Sustainable ICT for Health Research in Kenya, and has an outstanding opportunity for an Administrative Assistant

Specific Duties

  • Assist in candidate selection and needs assessment
  • Evaluation of the training
  • Implementation of workshops
  • General office administration and accounting

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as Business Administration and Secretarial studies
  • Experience in general office administration and accounting
  • Proficiency in MS office as well as internet
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills
