Some of the Key
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:-
- Managing the implementation financial strategy in the designated area
- Ensuring accounting operations in the designated area including recording and completeness of financial transactions in line with SOP
- Reviewing, authorizing and ensuring accurate posting of all accounting transactions.
- Managing financial aspects of projects and advising management on the best practice models
- Ensure adherence to budget while monitoring and reporting
- Planning and approval of payments
- Preparing financial and management reports for the designated area
- Continuously monitor and review information management system and internal control system and recommend changes as required
- Ensuring the fixed asset register is maintained and stock take exercise at the unit are conducted, as and when applicable
- Monitor bank transactions and ensure correct bank reconciliation as and when applicable
- Provide leadership to achieve high performance by ensuring employee development, employee engagement and performance management to deliver organization objectives and goals.
- Ensure Exemplary Customer-facing practices for both internal and external clients
