Safety Manager

Position: Reporting to the company C.E.O and ¡n charge of providing strategic leadership and direction in formulation, implementation and enforcement of safety policies including road safety programs in line with the organizations strategic plans.

Duties and responsibilities;

  • Develop, promote and implement the company’s safety policies
  • Monitor, investigate and analyze all occupational and road accidents and incidents.
  • Engage and coordinate agencies involved in safety programs and initiatives for safety sensitization, including representation in all transport and safety committees.
  • Initiate and conduct accident and incident investigations ensuring implementation on recommended corrective actions.
  • To undertake road safety research and report including occupational safety audits on possible risks.
  • Initiate and coordinate occupational and road safety awareness programs

Job Requirements
  • The person must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, with work experience of at least 7 years, 5 years of which should be in senior management position in transport industry.
  • Demonstrate exemplary leadership, communication and administrative skills, team player with excellent interpersonal skills and proficient in ICT.
  • Demonstrate experience in managing HCV transport and safety management.
  • Must be person of high integrity with demonstrated track record of exemplary performance and results.

Security Manager

Position: Reporting to the company C.E.O and in charge of the business security operations, develop and enforce the various security policies to ensure security of company assets, its employees and visitors.

Also, required to provide an appropriate access and protection of confidentiality and integrity of the company and its related policies and standard operating procedures.

Duties and responsibilities;
  • Oversee daily operations of the security department, recruitment and training of the security personnel.
  • Develop, document and implement security strategies, policies and processes within the group of companies.
  • Carry out site surveys, determine security requirements and report giving recommendations
  • Oversee and coordinate security efforts across all company sites, including guard deployments, communication, legal requirements and prosecution of offenders.
  • Follow up all criminal cases until prosecution within the legal framework.

Job requirements;
  • The person must possess a bachelor’s or associate degree in criminal justice, public administration, business or related subjects, NYS training an added advantage
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in security management of a private establishment.
  • Should be conversant with the security legal requirements of the land
  • Should be of good integrity with proper credibility supported with referrals
