Sales Operations Manager

Reporting to Head of Head of Marketing and Business Development, Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for;
  • Developing and managing the company sales strategies, sales services and sales resources to maximize product sales.
  • Developing the company sales and distribution strategies in liaison with the Head of Marketing & Business Development.
  • Developing and communicating sales targets by category of trade and monitoring achievements.
  • Maintaining up-to-date sales system to facilitate selling i.e. sales ledger, daybooks, dispatch, stock availability and sales reconciliations.
  • Setting and updating product pricing in liaison with the Head of Marketing & Business Development.
  • Coordinating product dispatch and distribution logistics.
  • Maintaining a daily/weekly/monthly sales performance reporting against targets.
  • Mobilizing sales resources to ensure effective sales promotion campaigns.
  • Preparing and submitting daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and trend analysis
  • Building and maintaining a healthy relationship with customers.
  • Providing sales support to regional sales staff, motivating and developing the sales team.

Job Specification
  • Bachelor of Commerce-Marketing Option graduate or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Master’s degree in relevant field from a recognized institution (an added advantage)
  • Must be registered by relevant professional body.
  • Professional qualification in sales management and customer service.
  • Minimum three years proven track record in sales and distribution management in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
  • Experience in brand management and advertising agency liaison will be an added advantage.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good negotiation, communication and presentation skills.

Outgrowers Cane Development Manager

Reporting to Head of Agriculture, Outgrowers Cane Development Manager will be responsible for;
  • Planning and co-coordinating all primary cane development activities to enable achievement of set productivity and performance targets.
  • Ensure that all set land development targets are achieved.
  • Responsible for ensuring that lead times between various operations are strictly adhered to.
  • Responsible for timely harvesting and distribution of seed cane to all furrowed land in the sugarcane growing zones.
  • Ensures timely distribution of fertilizer to all contracted and developed land in the sugarcane growing zones and issuance of herbicides as per requests.
  • Recruits and maintain adequate number of land development and seed cane transport contractors.
  • Ensures strict adherence to set quality standards in cane development.
  • Responsible for accurate maintenance of all operational data regarding land development, seed cane supply, fertilizer distribution, herbicides and vehicle /machine utilization.
  • Responsible for the formulation of the divisions’ budget and ensuring operations within the budget.
  • Timely compilation and submission of billing inputs to Outgrowers accounts.
  • Harmonious implementation of program through liaison with extension services.
  • Ensure harmonious working relationship with all the staff and customers.

Job Specification
  • B.Sc. Agriculture or Agriculture Engineering.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in extension or production.
  • Post graduate qualifications in the relevant field an added advantage.
  • Ability to work under extreme pressure
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Person of integrity and self-drive.
  • Valid driving license.

Head Teacher – Sony Complex School

Reporting to Human Resource Development Manager, Head Teacher Sony Complex will be responsible for:
  • Co-ordinating planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of all School programs and activities
  • Monitoring teachers Schemes of work, lesson preparations/plans.
  • Ensuring School fees are paid.
  • Managing School expenditure.
  • Ensuring effective teaching of all subjects.
  • Preparing operational and capital budgets
  • Ensuring availability of adequate learning resources
  • Serve as Secretary to the School Management Board and PTA Committee
  • Linking the School with key stakeholders in education.
  • Involved in actual teaching.
  • Managing staff performance.

Person Specification
  • Minimum P1 Certificate.
  • Bachelor of Education (Primary option) will be added advantage
  • 2 years experience as Head teacher or Three (3) years experience as Deputy Head Teacher in a reputable school.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate

Head of Finance

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Finance will be responsible for:
  • Formulating and coordinating the implementation of effective financial management and policies.
  • Ensuring formulation and implementation of effective and efficient financial management systems.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of departmental strategic plans.
  • Ensure preparation of corporate financial reports and statutory returns to strict deadlines.
  • Developing corporate business plans.
  • Plan, organizes, administers, reviews and evaluates the work of professional and office support staff.
  • Put in place methods and procedures for proper maintenance of accounting and financial records.
  • Performs advisory role in sourcing and application of funds. Budgetary control

Job Specification
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration
  • Relevant B.Com / BBA degree from a recognized institution and CPA(K)/ACCA
  • 5 years’ experience in financial management reporting at a senior level.
  • Sound knowledge of corporate financial management and control.
  • Person of high integrity.
  • Member of relevant professional body.
  • Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Computer proficiency with strong ability to work with computerized accounting systems.
  • Knowledge of treasury operations.

Electrical Engineering Manager

Reporting to Head of Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering Manager will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring efficient and effective provision and co-ordination of electrical/Instrumentation services for manufacturing and other user departments/offices/schools and domestic use.
  • Plan and prepare equipment specifications and oversee the execution of electrical and instrument engineering projects.
  • Planning and ensuring implementation of preventive maintenance of electrical and instrument equipment/machines and systems.
  • Ensure periodic testing and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems in compliance with professional standards.
  • Advice management on new market equipment/systems technological changes.
  • Responsible for budget (operational/capital) planning, preparation, execution and cost controls.
  • Develop a procurement plan and initiate procurement processes of electrical equipment and spares.

Job Specification
  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 7 years relevant work experience gained in maintenance management in a process manufacturing environment preferably sugar industry.
  • Proven track record in successful management of plant operations and maintenance.
  • Have wide knowledge in installations, trouble shooting and programming of PLCs and VSDS.
  • Be conversant with electrical/electronic machines and equipment of up to 11KV.
  • Computer proficiency
  • Person of outstanding integrity and honesty.
  • A registered member of a relevant professional body.
