Position Title: HR & Admin Manager

Reporting To: Head of Business

Core Responsibilities

To Work closely with other Senior Management Team to provide support, guidance and advise on HR strategies, policies and initiatives to ensure that the organization attracts, develops and retains high-caliber and motivated employees capable of meeting current and future operational and business development requirements within the organization.

The maintenance of harmonious industrial and enhances employee productivity.

Key Deliverables / Key Roles
  • Assist the Head of Business on HR planning to ensure the company has the right number of people and skill base to meet its objectives, for the present and future
  • Institute detective and preventative controls to ensure there is compliance with Group HR policies
  • Advise on and ensure compliance with legal and best HR practices in conjunction with the relevant HR bodies and the Group Head of Human Resources (or his designate).
  • Plan and implement the company’s annual training program
  • Institute innovative staff incentive and recognition programs in line with group guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements in accordance with the company’s labour laws
  • Ensure that all staff contracts are kept properly updated
  • Facilitate the periodic staff performance reviews
  • Facilitate in the staff recruitment and selection process
  • Oversee the staff medical scheme and ensure there are adequate insurance schemes with regard to risks related to Human resources
  • Oversee the staff pension scheme in liaison with the relevant providers/fund managers
  • Prepare and implement the Annual budgets with regards to staff costs and training
  • Oversee staff arrivals including preparation and supervision of new staff, orientations programs for new staff and facilitation of exit interviews
  • Any other responsibilities that are ordinarily performed by the HR function such as monitoring of annual leave for staff, absenteeism etc

Experience and Qualifications
  • MUST have 5 – 8 years of working experience at a managerial level in HR or in a similar capacity
  • MUST have a first degree with relevant qualifications in HR
  • A relevant post graduate qualification would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Business Management acumen, Performance management and financial skills - Budget presentation
  • MUST possess Strong interpersonal skills, People Management skills, Communication and Presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, handle pressure, Strong level of drive and determination, Honest, integrity, firm, sincere, Hardworking, able to work long productive hours, Sensitive to staff issues and approachable.
  • MUST possess resource planning and time management skills, team-working and networking skills, leadership and coaching skills, able to define, influence and implement HR strategy and the ability to position HR as a business partner.
