Family Health Options Kenya (FHOK) is seeking qualified and committed persons to fill the following positions:-

Medical Officer (Nairobi)

Ref: MO/HQ/2013

Reporting to the Director, Clinical Services, the Medical Officer will provide leadership and effective management of sustainable ASRH programme at both facility and community/catchment area.

He/She will formulate, develop, implement and evaluate curative, preventive, promotive, and reproductive health services including family planning.

Academic and Professional Requirements
  • A bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery
  • Experience in BTL and minor surgical procedures
  • 3 years working experience in a similar position
  • Must have management skills be self-driven, result oriented, innovative, flexible, adaptable and self motivated.
  • Duly registered with the medical board

Clinical Officer

(3 Positions - Nyeri, Nairobi and Kakamega)

Ref: CO/2013

Reporting to the Medical Centre Manager, the Clinical Officers will provide Integrated Reproductive Health and HIV Services in a busy Medical Centre.

He/She will participate in formulation of strategies for long-term development and sustainability of the clinical services as well as monitoring and evaluation of such services.

Academic and Professional Requirements
  • The ideal candidate must have a diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery with at least 3 years working experience in Public Health.
  • Must have experience in provision of Youth Friendly Services, Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) and Reproductive Health.
