ICT Administrator Job Vacancy

Kenya National Trading Corporation is a State Corporation under the Ministry of East African Affairs, Commerce & Tourism whose mission is to efficiently trade in quality products and services to ensure balance of supply and demand in the country’s distribution networks while promoting and growing wholesale and retail trade.

The Corporation is seeking for qualified and competent individuals for the following vacant position.

ICT Administrator

The successful candidate shall over see the implementation of ICT policy through proactive needs analysis, systems integration and efficient user support.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drive the implementation of an ERP for the Corporation
  • Formulate, review and oversee the implementation of the ICT strategy, policies and procedures
  • Ensure that ICT user needs and system functionalities are achieved
  • Oversee the scheduling of upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems;
  • Ensure the smooth running of all ICT systems to include anti-virus software and email provision
  • Ensure that software licensing laws are adhered to
  • Ensure the security of data from internal and external risks;

Required Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • CCNA, MCSE, LAN/ WAN Certifications
  • 5 years experience in information technology management
  • Proactive, vibrant and responsible with Good administrative and coordination
