Sales Manager Job in Kenya

Summary

Urysia Ltd holds the Peugeot franchise in Kenya and over the last two years has experienced tremendous growth with key highlights in commissioning the Bunyala road branch; one of the largest in Africa that meets international standards and aimed at regaining the confidence of Peugeot customers in quality and service delivery.

The company is also in the process of acquiring additional franchises which will see growth and presence in passenger segment, trucks, prime movers and motor cycles as well as cementing its countrywide presence.

In light of these plans, Urysia ltd is looking to recruit a Sales Manager.

You will be responsible for maximising the sales of new and used motor vehicle units through the formulation of effective policies, development of result driven sales force and implementation of effective promotional campaigns while building and maintaining a solid client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Put in place appropriate sales strategies that support the Company’s market development and its products.
  • Formulate, review and update sales policies in line with the Company’s sales objectives and ensuring target achievement
  • Study market information relating to product performance and pricing so as to determine the optimal strategy
  • Formulate annual budgets and continually review performance against budget and sales forecasts on a month to month basis
  • Develop an effective  vehicle distribution and delivery system
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key Accounts/Fleet customers
  • Structure vehicle sales financing and debt management
  • Suggest and consult and on promotional activities and ensure timely and effective implementation
  • Identify  market and market trends through continuous monitoring and feedback systems
  • Quality control on presentation and demonstration through regular training of staff
  • Ensure availability of high caliber motivated staff who are able to achieve department’s operational objectives ; set performance targets, identify shortfalls and ensure that staff are motivated to achieve the expected targets

Knowledge/Skills/Experience
  • Bachelors degree in a business related field, preferably sales & marketing
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position preferably in a commercial organization
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve targeted sales
  • Familiarity with operations of the marketing, procurement and promotion originating functions within large organizations.
