Legal Clerk
needed for a
property firm
To follow
up the legal aspects of the purchase for individual clients with our lawyers to
ensure the legal process progresses well and leases are registered
expeditiously.
To manage a
master document in which each stage, legal and financial for each sale is
documented and updated on a daily basis
To chase
customers in terms of paying legal fees, and signing the sale agreements etc
To chase
our lawyers to ensure documents are prepared and released on time
To
regularly report to management with progress on each unit and highlight any
cases which are problematic or slow-moving
To document
and file any correspondence with the purchasers & lawyers regarding the
sale or progress on the sale of the units.
To follow
up financial commitments made by the purchasers to ensure their payments are on
schedule and to highlight any problematic cases to the management
To review
any legal contracts we enter into.
To provide
sales support to the sales manager and to potentially answer sales queries
(email and phone) and follow up the sales leads
To help out
during any marketing events held by the company
To provide
accounts support in regards to the clients payments to the Accounts manager
To liaise
with our site reps on units close to being finalized to ensure they will be
ready for handover
Desired Education
- Diploma in Law/Legal studies (Preferably from Kenya Law School)
- Experience in Property Law/Conveyance matters.
Salary:
30,000 – 50,000
