Sans Frontières is implementing a quantitative study assessing the health and
social profile of the refugees in Dadaab / Dagahaley refugee Camp, Kenya and in
Mogadishu.
Specifically,
the access to health care (primary and secondary), unmet needs, shelter and
watsan conditions as well as the access to assistance will be assessed through
a structured questionnaire in both locations.
The
questionnaire will then be sent to Nairobi on a weekly basis for the data entry
on SPSS.
Main Responsibilities
The Data
Entry Operator will be responsible for questionnaire gathering and filing, and
for entering data coming from each location on a weekly basis.
More precisely her/his role will be
to:
- Receive the hard copies of the completed questionnaires (once or twice per week) and file them;
- Make sure the whole questionnaire is filled / that there is no major problem;
- Enter the data in SPSS.
- The Data Entry Operator will work under the supervision of the Project Manager based in Nairobi.
Requirements and Application
- Fluent English, knowledge of Somali is a plus
- Good computer skills, basic knowledge of SPSS
- Research experience is a plus
- Organizational skills
