Position: Business Development Executive

Our client, a leading manufacturer and distributor of packaging systems
including Plastic Strapping systems, and coding equipment is seeking to recruit
a Business Development Executive. Industry: Manufacturing
We are
specifically looking for a mature focused personality with a minimum of 4
years’ experience selling to industries.
Candidates
with experience selling industrial equipment will have an added advantage.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing
marketing strategies to retain and attract new clients
- Generate sales leads and secure
new business by maintaining relationship with the existing and potential
clients
- Prepare action plans and
schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of
contacts to be made
- Identify sales prospects and
contact these and other accounts as assigned
- Develop and maintain sales
materials and update current product knowledge
- Prepare paperwork to activate
and maintain contract services
- Manage account services through
quality checks and other follow-up mechanisms as per company policy
- Prepare a variety of status
reports, including sales activity, closings and follow-up
- Communicate new product and
service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback to
the Business Development Head
Qualification
and Experience
- Degree/ Diploma in Sales and
Marketing or relevant field
- Minimum 4 years’ experience
selling to industries
- Candidates with experience
selling industrial equipment will have an added advantage
- Serious mature focused
personality with proven ability to meet sales targets
- Good communication and
presentation skills
- Self driven with high level of
integrity
