Our
Client is currently looking for a Laundry Manager
in one of their properties in Kampala, Uganda.
Job DescriptionJob purpose of Laundry manager will be responsibility for linen processing, service and control.
The
Manager will also ensure that an adequate supply of clean fresh linen is
routinely provided to the proper.
The
Manager will monitor linen utilization to ensure that it is properly
utilized.
The
Manager is also responsible for maintaining employee morale at a high level,
meeting the requirements of regulatory agencies, budgetary objectives, and
maintaining excellent Guest Relations.
Key duties/responsibilities of Laundry manager:

- Supervises
staffing levels to ensure that operational needs and financial objectives
are met.
- Orders cleaning
supplies and uniforms within budget.
- Ensures all
associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms.
- Empowers
associates to provide excellent customer service.
- Establishes and
maintains open, collaborative relationships with associates and ensures
associates do the same within the team.
- Supervises daily
Laundry shift operations and ensures compliance with all policies,
standards and procedures.
- Ensures
consistent workflow to minimize peaks and valleys in production.
