Workshop Coordinator
(1
Position)
Reporting
to the Head of Operations - Workshop, Transport and Dispatch, the successful
candidate will assist in implementation of vehicle maintenance plans, inspect
vehicle preventive maintenance and repairs, validate vehicle service and repair
orders for due approval, ensure effective controls and divisional cost
management, effective supervision of workshop operatives amongst other
responsibilities.
The ideal candidates shall have the following minimum qualifications:-
- At least Diploma
in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years
relevant experience in a busy FMCG transport sector
- Strong
coordination skills
- Self -motivated
and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work
within time limits and with ‘out of the box’ mentality
- Experience in
farm machinery will have an added advantage
- Be
self-motivated and able to motivate the rest of the team.
- Assertiveness
where quality and cleanliness is at stake
- Proficiency in
Microsoft packages or other technical management information systems
