Marketing Representative Job Vacancy


A reputable company marketing EABL’s brands in Australia is seeking to open an office in Mumbai and Pune to market beers, wines and spirits etc
 
We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Representative to start with the Pune and Mumbai markets with expansion plans to other territories in future.
 
The person should be well versed with the two cities preferably a local resident of any of the two cities and should preferably have worked for any of the 2 leading beer companies, United Breweries or SAB Millers or has had experience marketing leading imported beers.
 

Position Statement
 
The position of the Marketing Representative is responsible for the sales and development of EABL products in Pune and Mumbai.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Marketing and sales planning.
  • Execute Sales and Marketing programs across the territory.
  • Achievement of annual sales and accounts goals.
  • Ensure timely collections of amounts owed.
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with customers.
  • Provide weekly, monthly and annual reports and accomplishments.
  • Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and payment terms.
  • Provision of after sale services where required
  • Demonstrate competent sales abilities through successful presentation of products and credible promotion of new and existing portfolio items.
  • Utilize sample inventories to promote product sales.
  • Participate in sales meetings, on-site training and trade events to maintain a high level of product and supplier knowledge.
Job Specification
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or a related course.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word.
  • At least 5 Years’ experience in Sales and Marketing in the beer industry.

  • Well organized, self motivated with the ability to work independently
  • High integrity levels, confident and ability to forge strong professional relationships quickly
  • Brewery knowledge
  • Good written and communication skills. Must possess the ability to develop and provide all necessary written reports, business correspondence and presentations necessary to satisfy job requirements
  • Good oral communication and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers , clients , customers and the general public
  • Must present himself/herself in a professional manner to be a strong leader and partner to customers and trade partners.
