Organization working on advocacy, community social mobilization for scaling up
of malaria interventions in Kenya.

Title: Finance and Administration Internship
Duration: 3 Months Contract

Internship
Purpose
Provide
Financial & Administration support to effectively and efficiently carry out
key functions of the Organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in
maintaining internal financial/administration controls.
- Data entry into
the accounting system (QuickBooks).
- Assist in cash
management and bank reconciliation.
- Be involved in
budget forecasting, preparation, while ensuring compliance.
- Assist in preparation
of monthly financial accounts and the supporting schedules.
- Assist in
cashbook maintenance, general ledger and prepare management reports.
- Assist in
supporting the Administration functions.
- Verify all
supporting documentations before presenting for authorization.
- Assist in
documentation and filing of finance documents.
- Undertake any
other finance duties as shall be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications: The
Finance and Administration Internship is opened to finance or Account diploma,
degree and post-graduate students who wish to acquire knowledge and experience
of a real work environment to the mutual benefit of both the organization and
the Intern.

Purpose
Provide
Communication and public relations support to raise awareness and increase
visibility of the organization with key stakeholders and the general public,
ensure dissemination of appropriate messages to relevant audiences (both
internally and externally) through effective channels, and promote
documentation of the organization’s program work as well as information sharing
and learning.
Key
Responsibilities
- Assist in
coordination of communication initiatives and processes
- Assist in
production and dissemination of corporate materials
- Assist in
management of the KeNAAM’s website
- Assist in
documentation, information sharing and learning
- Assist in media
relationships
- Undertake any
other duty as shall be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
- The
Communication Internship is opened to Journalism/Mass Communication or
Public Relations diploma, degree and post-graduate students who wish to
acquire knowledge and experience of a real work environment to the mutual
benefit of both the organization and the Intern.
- Must be a strong
writer and effective communicator, commanding both written and oral
(Swahili & English).
- Must have
knowledge of Cameras/Camcorders for photography and filming.
- Must be computer
literate (working knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint, Excel).
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop highly desired.
- Knowledge of
HTML and graphic design a plus
- Firm grasp of
available tools and platforms in the social media space
