Our
Client is a professional training institution offering Certificate, Diploma,
Advanced Diploma and Degree programs.
They
are seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Financial Controller.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, he/she will among other duties be
responsible for:- Management and
development of financial controls and systems within the Finance department
and across the organization Provision of high quality support and advisory
services to budget holders, managers, staff and the organization at large.
- Assist in
preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans and continued
monitoring & review of performance against them to enable robust
reporting of variances to the management team.
- Development of
corporate capital and assets development plans Supervision of junior staff
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of a
Bachelor degree in business or a related area from a recognized
university;
- Have at least
ACCA/CPA part II or an equivalent qualification;
- At least 1-2
years’ experience in a relevant role;
- An organized
individual, with attention to detail;
- Excellent
analytical skills; A good understanding of the financial policies and
international trends in finance;
- Business acumen
is a must;
- Must be of high
integrity.
Salary 40,000-50,000
