Shuga Coordinator Job in Nyando District Kenya


Impact Research and Development Organization is a registered Kenyan Non-Governmental Organization with a main office in Kisumu and regional offices in Bondo, Nyando, Rongo, Migori, Nyatike, Homa Bay, Ndhiwa, Pokot North and Busia County. 

Its principal mandate is to design, implement and evaluate HIV/AIDS research and intervention programs that improve the health status of individuals and local communities. 

We are looking for qualified and experienced personnel to fill in the following position.

Shuga Coordinator

Job Summary: To oversee the implementation of Shuga activities in Nyando District, Kisumu County.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Technology or related field.
  • Good understanding of public health issues particularly HIV/AIDS.
  • At least 1 year experience coordinating large HIV/AIDS prevention programs especially among the out of school youth aged 15-24 years an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience with the implementation of Shuga activities an added advantage.
  • Should possess excellent training and group facilitation skills.
