Our client is a Sales and Marketing Consultancy Firm looking to
fill the position of a quality and strong Sales Trainer for a local chain of
supermarkets in Nairobi to train its outlet’s merchandising personnel.

Salary: Negotiable
Job Purpose is to design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- To
plan, conduct, coordinate and implement a comprehensive training program
for the merchandisers.
- Serve
as a subject matter expert for sales training and sales process and
systems
- Assist
in the design and preparation of materials, resources and information to
be used in respect of programmed delivery.
- Present
information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such
as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, or
lectures.
- Developing
and customizing Sales and Marketing curriculum.
- Take
responsibility for the quality of teaching delivered.
- Guidance
and skills development to ensure that standards are maintained and
improved.
- Adequately
equipping the students with Sales/Marketing/Customer Relations skills.
- Monitor,
evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum
of a University Degree in a business related field
- At
least 3yrs experience in Sales and Marketing
- Must
have specific experience, training groups especially in the field of Sales
- Candidates
preferably should have experience conducting role plays
- Male
or female – we need strong characters (not pushovers)
- High
attention to detail and time consciousness necessary
- Excellent
communication skills both spoken and written
- Confident
and articulate with a strong presence
- Able
to learn and adapt quickly
- Minimum
age – 26 years
Availability:
- Trainers
must be available 100% during the required period
- Trainers
must be available from 3rd May to facilitate training and coordination of
the participants
